Clinical Studies on Oscillococcinum®

Each year, millions of people contract flu or suffer from flu-like symptoms in the U.S. As many as 710,000 hospitalizations occur as a result.1 Most people recover within one to two weeks, but it’s a serious disruption to life and work.

Oscillococcinum is a convenient and reliable first choice for relief of flu-like symptoms. It has been shown in clinical trials to both reduce the severity and shorten the duration of flu-like symptoms.2,3

This medicine works rapidly, with 63 percent of patients showing “complete resolution” or “clear improvement” at 48 hours.†2 In a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial, the recovery rate within 48 hours of treatment was significantly greater in the group that received Oscillococcinum than in the placebo group.‡3

Unlike other flu medications, Oscillococcinum does not cause drowsiness or have known drug interactions. This product can be purchased at pharmacies, natural product stores, supermarkets, and online.

Oscillococcinum works best when taken early, so it’s helpful to keep it on hand to take at the first signs of flu-like symptoms.
